While he was already a hero to millions of young people, he soon added millions of new admirers. His intention with Raven Drum is to share his journey and help others to discover their own paths. Rick's incredible story is truly the direct inspiration for the Raven Drum Foundation.
Raven Drum Foundation's resiliency program is an innovative healing program for veterans, active duty military, and their families. They use self-care modalities to aid in healing post traumatic stress disorder, combat-related trauma, and the everyday stress, anxiety, and depression experienced by service men and women and their families.
Their program provides participants with self-help and self-healing tools to be incorporated into their daily lives to help cope with their emotional, physical and psychological wounds.
Rick Allen and Lauren Monroe's resiliency veteran program is their way of giving back to these courageous and inspiring warriors and providing them with a new path for the future.
